The family of a 23-year-old woman from Richards Bay in northern KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, who went missing two months ago, claims she has been found in a hospital in Nigeria.
The woman told her family that she was abducted, drugged and woke up in Nigeria. The family has made a call to the South African government to intervene and ensure her safe return.
The woman who is not being named for her own protection went missing on the day she graduated from the University of Zululand. She allegedly contacted her family via Facebook.
The Department of International Relations says it is not aware of the incident.
